Our Commitment to Accessibility

MEYDY FX is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone, and apply relevant accessibility standards.

This statement applies to the website rvgenie.meydy.com.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This website also aims to comply with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Adjustments for Accessible Service), 5773-2013 (הנחיות WCAG 2.0 ברמה AA), as required by Israeli law.

Current status: Partially conformant. Some content may not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria as we are in active development.

Technical Specifications

This website relies on the following technologies for conformance:

  • HTML5 (semantic elements)
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript (vanilla, progressive enhancement)
  • WAI-ARIA

Accessibility Features Implemented

  • Skip navigation link to bypass repetitive content.
  • Semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer, section).
  • All images include meaningful alt text or are marked decorative.
  • All form fields have visible labels and ARIA descriptions.
  • Keyboard-navigable interface — all interactive elements reachable via Tab.
  • Visible focus indicators with high-contrast outlines (WCAG 2.4.7).
  • Colour contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimum (4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for UI components).
  • Text scales up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • No content flashes more than 3 times per second (WCAG 2.3.1).
  • Tab/role/aria-selected used correctly for tabbed UI components.
  • Alert regions (aria-live) used for dynamic form feedback.
  • Cookie consent banner has keyboard-accessible dismiss.
  • Language of page declared (lang="en").
  • Page titles are descriptive and unique.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, the following known limitations exist:

  • YouTube embedded video: The demo video is hosted by YouTube. Its player controls and accessibility are governed by Google's implementation. We use the privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie.com) embed. Closed captions are available within the YouTube player if provided by the channel.
  • Beta software documentation: RV Genie is beta software. Detailed in-app accessibility of the desktop application is being evaluated and improved.

We are actively working to resolve these limitations.

Formal Complaints

If you experience accessibility barriers not covered above, you may contact us directly. We take all reports seriously and will respond within 14 business days.

Israeli residents may also file a complaint with the Equal Rights Commission for Persons with Disabilities (נציבות שוויון זכויות לאנשים עם מוגבלות), Ministry of Justice, Israel.
